Diamonds

What kind of diamonds do you use?

We currently work exclusively with lab-grown diamonds.

Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds, possessing the same brilliance, hardness, and durability. The only difference lies in their origin—lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment, whereas natural diamonds are formed beneath the Earth's surface over millions of years.

Each diamond is carefully selected to meet our quality standards, ensuring exceptional beauty and craftsmanship in every piece.

Are your diamonds ethically sourced?

Yes. We use lab-grown diamonds, offering a more sustainable and traceable alternative while maintaining the same beauty and durability as mined diamonds.

Do the diamonds come with a certificate?

Yes. Our diamonds come with an IGI certificate, allowing you to verify their cut, colour, clarity and carat weight.

Materials

What metals do you offer?

Our jewellery is available in:

  • 14K Yellow Gold
  • 14K White Gold
  • 18K Yellow Gold
  • 18K White Gold

What's the difference between 14K and 18K gold?

14K gold contains a higher percentage of alloy metals, making it more durable for everyday wear.

18K gold contains more pure gold, giving it a richer colour and higher gold content while remaining suitable for daily wear with a little more care.

Both are excellent choices—it simply comes down to your preference.

Will my jewellery tarnish?

Solid gold will not tarnish. White gold may require occasional rhodium replating over the years to maintain its bright white finish.

Ordering

Why are all pieces made to order?

Every piece is handcrafted specifically for you.

This allows you to choose between 14K or 18K gold, your preferred gold colour, and ensures we never overproduce jewellery that sits unused.

How long does production take?

Approximately 4–6 weeks.

As each piece is individually handcrafted, production times may vary slightly depending on the design.

Why do prices sometimes change?

Our pricing reflects the current market price of gold.

As gold prices fluctuate globally, our prices may occasionally be adjusted to remain fair and transparent.

Customisation

Can I customise my own piece?

Absolutely. We'd love to help bring your ideas to life. Simply send us a message on Instagram to discuss your custom project.

Can I add natural gemstones?

Yes. We can source a wide range of natural gemstones for bespoke pieces, including sapphires, spinels, emeralds, tourmalines and many more.

If you're looking for something specific, we'd be happy to source it for you.

    Do you offer engraving?

Yes. Most rings can be engraved with initials, names, dates, or a short meaningful message.

By default, every Archive Atelier piece is engraved with our discreet maker's mark (AA) alongside the gold purity (14K or 18K). If you prefer to maximise engraving space or would like only your personal engraving, we're happy to omit the maker's mark upon request.

    Sizing & Wear

What ring sizes do you offer?

We offer a range of standard ring sizes. If you require a size outside our listed options, feel free to contact us before placing your order.

    Can I resize my ring?

Most of our designs can be resized after purchase. Please contact us before placing your order if you're unsure of your size.

Can I wear my jewellery every day?

Yes. Our solid gold jewellery is designed for everyday wear.

We recommend removing your jewellery during strenuous activities or when using harsh chemicals to help preserve its finish for years to come.

    Craftsmanship Guarantee

    Is there a warranty?

Yes. Every Archive Atelier piece is backed by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

Before your jewellery reaches you, it undergoes multiple quality inspections to ensure it meets our standards for craftsmanship and quality.

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, loss, or alterations made by third parties.

If you believe your piece has a manufacturing defect, simply get in touch with us and we'll be happy to assess it.
